Draft Day begins

Well, the first picks have hit the board and the consistency of strategy is stunning. Experienced gameday managers certainly recognize the quirks of the system. Most all of the openning bids have been GM point grabs; bids to marginal players, players coming back from injury, and rookies. The hope being to raise the GM rating by bidding on low risk/high reward contracts early on to rack up the +2 counts by being the only bidder. No big names are being injected yet as no manager has the "inside information" advantage. Interesting, but ultimately futile if everyone is on board. We seem to be outsmarting ourselves at the moment.
