Is it wrong for a grown man to cry...

after losing out on Chase Utley? I don't know what I'm going to do without him.

But overall, I think I recovered nicely and have no complaints about my FAB in the start-up Gehrig Division. It wasn't necessarily the plan, but I ended up inking my entire offense for three years:

C: Joe Mauer (6.0/3 NT)
1B: Lance Berkman (5.0/3 NT)
2B: Rickie Weeks (3.0/3)
3B: Adrian Beltre (6.5/3)
SS: Hanley Ramirez (10.0/3 NT)
OF1: Bobby Abreu (7.0/3)
OF2: Andruw Jones (4.0/3)
OF3: Kosuke (Welcome to the) Fukudome (3.0/3)
DH: David Ortiz (10.5/3)

With the exception of Beltre (I was in danger of turning to the Kouzmanoffs/Credes/Garciaparras of the world), I feel like I got everyone at bargain-to-reasonable prices. I also will have to build some depth during free agency. Conor Jackson (1.0/3) and Andy LaRoche (0.5/3) are the only bats on my bench right now.

As for my staff, I didn't get a true top-notch starter and completely missed out on middle relievers. But I did get six secondary starters who I'm high on, as well as Joe Nathan at the back. I'm pretty happy with it, even if I am a little righty-heavy:

Brett Myers (5.5/3)
Javier Vazquez (5.5/1)
A.J. Burnett (4.5/3)
Chad Billingsley (3.5/3)
Francisco Liriano (4.0/3)
Matt Garza (2.5/3)
Joe Nathan (5.0/1)

I've got plenty of work to do post-FAB, but I've got $23M to work with.
